Rossgo this is Si's Blade with his us10 strapped to the tank using the harness I showed.
Very useful and good piece if kit.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Thanks Blade. I do quite like the bag on the back however it is a great idea for when I go away for extra luggage space. It maybe an idea to pick one up to go with my Oxford rear tail bag.
It looks like the straps are the same as for the rear, literally wraps itself around a frame or bar of some kind which gives it it's strength. Would I be right?

Nice one Rossgo. I've got loads of kriega as it's module and really good kit you can keep adding too.

It's a superb design which looks really flexible of where you can place it and what you do with it. Great idea. Don't think I will buy any more bags as I have the Oxford tail pack for weekends away but the 10 litre to convert to a tank bag sounds a good idea.

Sounds awesome Frankie. Really wish I was coming Jerez now. Does the company you use offer a hire bike service ?

Got blinded by the sun. It's at eye level now for the ride into work. Even with the drop down visor you can't see much. Thankfully most cars have their side lights on so I can see them.

Much better to drive to work Westwards, and home Eastwards Kwacky. Reduces that problem hugely (means you employer may need to relocate to accommodate your requirements. But, hey, if they value you fully.... )Kwacky wrote:Got blinded by the sun. It's at eye level now for the ride into work. Even with the drop down visor you can't see much. No mate, but they do have the yellow peril hornet which get used by a lot of people, its a fun bike by all accounts on the tracks, I know Gary loves it.Blade wrote:Sounds awesome Frankie. Really wish I was coming Jerez now. Does the company you use offer a hire bike service ?
You will be missed, should be great fun, I think the 600 is gonna love this track.
As for working from home, which was mentioned above, I used to work longer hours and harder when I was working from home, I mean you wake up, your straight into the office and the same for finishing, you end up spending much longer at it, then you would if you were out to the office.
Did become a bit of an issue some years ago in my home life.....But being an excuse for doing feck all! its definitely not that.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I really fancy do a foreign trackday next year but wouldn't fancy taking the zx10r so would prefer a good quality hire bike.
Frankie if you notice any companies offering trackbike hire when your there take a note of the details for me please.

Why not have a search round on eBay / forums etc. Thus time of year you could probably pick up a decent track bike for not much.
I'm sure you can fit another bike in that garage

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I can't John. That's why I sold the zx6r.
The little ninja was costing me nothing in depreciation and about £100 in servicing and road fund lience. The only reason I sold it was I needed the space.
We plan to move in a year or two and at that point when I get my double garage I'm pretty sure there will be more than one new addition as I would love a track bike and a pillion friendly bike too.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
After your question I took a look about, the U.K. Hire firms will supply for Euro days, but seem to be tied in with No limits or focussed and alike, rather than renting you one for (a another) tack day company. I suppose it makes sense they want to be with the bike, to rather than letting it out of their sight.
So you could go with any of the main ones, all have that option to hire.
