I paid £60 for the hugger to be done where as the carbon hugger I ordered which was poo was £155, It's on the bike now and there's a slight mark where the screws have gone in probably me over tightening but apart from that I'm very happy with it.StMarks wrote:Uber cool in the matte carbon look Bratty.
If it's not too crass a question ; roughly how much does carbon wrapping cost, relative to Carbon Fibre product itself please.?
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Took the 748 out for a trashing round the local lanes. Great fun as the roads were surprisingly quiet and the weather is spot on. Mild, dry and bright sunshine.

I've only briefly flicked through the footage. Most of it looks slow, tbh. Probably because my chest rig was set too high and doesn't have a reference point.D6 wrote:Itchy wrote:Took it out for a ride with one of the lads at work.
We'd agreed before we even left work that we weren't going to do silly speeds, no dodgy overtakes and nothing dangerous. Just a nice sedate ride to get out on the bikes and have a laugh.
...with the prospect of getting out on my first rideout of the year with somebody else, somebody I know and the added BHP that comes with a GoPro strapped to my chest and another one strapped to his helmet,

And the stupid moments are scattered between the periods of getting stuck behind traffic, so I'll have to have a look at editing before I post anything up.

Took it out for a blast to Heathrow. Great time watching a fee planes taking off. Then got chatting to a old boy about what he is getting next from a long time off bikes (35 years!)

Rode it for the first time in 6 months.
Only to test centre and back to get an mot but great all the same.
Hope to get out for a decent run for a few hours Sunday or Monday as feeling really rusty.

Got the M7's fitted, put the standard plate and cans on ready for the mot. Sounds like a hairdryer now.
Couldn't resist a quick shake down ride taking it very easy, but the early feel from the m7's is very good. Hopefully going to get out for a decent ride on Monday so will get a good idea of how they perform

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Rode down to JHP and bought this. Happy days.
I looked at it last weekend but wanted to look at all options first and have a chat with the Dainese shop in Wolverhampton. I'm going to need some new leather trousers as well as the new jacket wont zip to my old ones but realistically they need replacing too anyway as i have gone down a waist size since buying them and again they are 6-7 years old. Tried a few pairs on in Dainese shop and have to say the fit has come on leaps and bounds since i last tried some on.

That was the best looking jacket by a country mile out of the ones you showed us Duke. Great purchase and as you say will look great with some matching dianese trousers.

Good customer service is always worth paying a little extra for but if their looking after you on the price too that's a win win.

I bumped into it a few times as I was detailing the wife's car. I had intentions of doing the same to the bike but it started pissing a cold rain

Had a ride down to The New Forest with a member off another forum. Great day out and amazing scenery. Hit some roads I'd never been on in my local area too and it's a surprise just how much beauty we have even here!

That carbon akrapovic can on your 6r is the nicest I have seen for your bike. Looks stunning
