Wondering why I thought two weeks in a caravan would be a good idea with three year old twins

Re: What are you doing today ??
Into my fourth day of weeding my front garden, 90 m2 in area and onion weed (oxialis) has taken a hold in a major way. Very slow going, I'm not even half way.
But it's the first day of spring, a lovely sunny day at about 22 deg C and the native parrots and birds are singing all day. The only thing missing is beer
but I have to be sober to get through the kids homework once they get home.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I left the bike out to do some work on it, but the heavens have opened and it's really throwing it down.
I had to put my textiles on to put the bike away. Seeing as I was waterproof I took the dog out for a walk. Those boots are comfortable for walking in

Last day in the office this week so trying to get everything finished before my boss decides he needs to start asking a load of questions about work while I'm away.

Don't be mate, it's the most relaxed and happy I've felt in ages. It was a bit of a rough start but now the kids are getting used to it, it's going pretty good. Well from my perspective anyways.Rossgo wrote:Sorry to hear your still living apart Kiwikiwikrasher wrote:Another 21 deg day in the garden.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Messing about trying to fix my car !! It's been a long time since I have had my head use r the bonnet for anything more than fluid fills.....
She is over heating and I am going around the bend trying to fix it. My local garage did a sniff test, I think that is what it's called, so I know the head is ok, I have checked to see if their is any air in the system, seems to be ok, I have just changed the thermostat (pain in the arse position that was) next step take out for a test ride, just thought I would chill out for 5 and post this before I go out. I know there were no leaks in the system prior to changing the stat, hopefully still none after my test. This post may well be null and void if I have fixed it ha ha.... We shall see, I have a sneaky feeling there is something else.
If anyone has any bright ideas please let me know. It's an X reg golf mk4 GTi TDi

Is the exterior of the radiator loaded up with crap reducing the airflow?
Is the fan operating?
