Re: What are you doing today ??
Today I decided to try to use the Tyre program for Sat navs, as we talked about it after my observed ride yesterday. I have planned. couple of local routes 1 around 60 miles on very local roads and the other ventureing a little further around 90 odd miles. I've added some challenges roads with some nice sweeping roads in the mix. However I won't know exactly what the roads will be like until I'm there, used street view on most of the smaller roads. Just hope they don't turn into mud roads
Could be a good tool to get out and about into different areas

Very lucky indeed there Fkkr1s
Fwiw an old electrician I used to know always used to say "Electricity is safe. It's not the electric shock that will kill you, it's the falling off the ladder when you get a shock"
He's since died.

Re: What are you doing today ??
What can I say Frankie, other than some serious luck going on there - fingers crossed it doesn't turn out to be anything other than painful.
Today I've been receiving some more pics of my new (and first) Grandson, born on the evening of the 14th, apparently I'm officially an old fart now! I'm putting a trilby and driving gloves on my Amazon wish list when I get home.
Oh and we climbed to the top of Modica whilst doing part of the Montalbano Trail this afternoon. My feet now hurt. Lots.

Congrats Grandpa DeeGee....GDG
Frankie you muppet. I'm supposed to be the forum DIY disaster effort!
I know what it's like mate, my industry is so highly HSE regulated, yet at home I seem to always think I'll get away with it, and usually don't. Take care mate, be hard getting a job in a body cast!

Being a proud dad
My two boys came home from karate last night with their next grading belt tips (basically mid grading assessment) and my youngest won a medal which he is chuffed to bits about. It was for the best kata and watching him I'm not surprised he was very good with sharp determined moves and executed it flawlessly.
