I'm out too because after running Saturday my knee is locking and then giving out and I couldn't sit all day on the bike.
Is Thursday 27 and good for people?

Re: Tankslap Wales Rideout - 19th August
Can't do Thursday..
I'll look to be at the Raven for 09:00 tomorrow.. Reckon it'll take me a couple of hours to get there...
We can ride, reschedule, abort or all of the above...
I'll check on the forum int the morning to see if anyone's going, but I plan to be there barring disasters..

Re: Tankslap Wales Rideout - 19th August
If your committing to a 2 hour ride just to get the Raven it would be rude not to come
Will aim to be there around 9am.
Can just head West from the Raven through Llangollen and on towards Betsys-y-Coed if you like, keep it simple and quite short and hopefully we'll dodge or even beat the rain back home!
You coming Andy...?

Sorry Mike I'm gonna give it a miss. Was planning on getting up and checking the weather but I've just left it too late to get going! Hope you get a decent ride in though!

If the weather is like anything down here in Cornwall then it will make for a very wet ride. If you do have a ride enjoy it and stay safe

Re: Tankslap Wales Rideout - 19th August
I head East in the peaks for a few hours this morning as it was the west side of the country due to get the soaking first.
Great ride as not been out for about 4 weeks and was good to blow some cob webs off.
Just been the raining back too. As starting to spit now as I type.
Hope you guys in Wales managed to get some dry time and have some fun.

First there was sun and an enjoyable ride up to the Raven..
Spanking breakfast & met up with Deano..
Ride out heading for Betsy coed; & then the rain came...
We turned back and went to the Ponderosa at the top of the Horshoe pass (we braked for cake)...
With the rain threatening to turn biblical we ran for home in the rain..
Heading through Bridgenorth, I thought it rude not to stop at the Quatt cafe and then final scoot home... Close on 250 miles, Dry, Wet, Damp, Downpour Home & wash the bike off...
The Mighty SX took it all in its stride..,

Glad you had a good day out guys.
Daz that is probably the best looking sx I have seen. Really like the black and green colour scheme and looks so much better with the fulgy oem cans removed.

I'm not keen on pipes, hate the screen, so a few well chosen accessories and its how I like it...

Only the hundred or so miles for me, you racked up some miles tho Daz... That scone was worth it tho eh LoL!
Shame the weather spoilt it really, could of been a good day but always nice to meet another slapper out on the bikes!
Hopefully we'll get another opportunity before the weather turns completely shit!
