One is supplying these sectors - construction and Facilities management & building services environments, the other is similar but more focussed on heating, ventilation and air conditioning, of which I have been in for the past million years in different forms lol. Both very much new ventures of building new territories rather than doing a milk round on existing business. Again it is what I do, and although soul destroying at times with doors being slammed in your face, it's what I am good at and enjoy in the main and the rewards can be good, which pay for the toys lol.Perkles wrote:Good stuff frankie, what industry ?

Re: What are you doing today ??
Trying to stay awake while I get the cabin sorted, housework etc and grocery shopping. I get the kids tomorrow so hope to have another solid sleep tonight so I'm in some shape to handle them. I was up at the house yesterday arvo and this morning doing the before school/after school minding duties and I tell ya kids know when you are off form. So hard to stay calm when your brain and body are frazzled from lack of sleep. I reckon swing back from night shifts is the worst part of my job.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

No sleep on the plane as It was packed and my brain thoughts was still in night shift. Got 2 hrs sleep in the arvo, then with the help of some sleeping tablets slept 9 hrs last night. Looking toward to getting my body clock back. That was by far the worst trip home I've had.
Enjoy having your kids with you

Re: What are you doing today ??
I was going to take the 6r out for a test ride, seeing as my son was at his friend's house, and my wife was going to visit her dad.
Instead my wife collected my son, dropped him off back home and then went on her visit. So now my son is bored and I can't go out.
Women's logic right there.

Managed to get out on the SV! Twice in one week unheard of for me! (Not through lack of desire! Usually work takes up all of my time!)
So headed to Worcester with some buddies!

recovering from a great day of racing (with a few issues) at mallory with my boy. the sun shone and we both beat our personal best lap times. we will both not forget our chats that started a long while ago now with nige (pitty), little steps, and thats what we're doing. was good to see Jack and Si snapping away as well.

Back to work.
Thankfully the shit and the fan avoided all contact, so it's a stress free morning.

Just enjoying my kids company and chilling out.
Probably take the football down the park and if the weather is good after tea might go for an evening blast on the ten.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Well today I thought I was going to be posting, or rather dictating! That fact I had broken my arm.
I feel so sore and stupid now, but doing more householdy chores, I was doing some drilling in the wall, rather than doing it correctly and moving a side board, setting up a pair of steps I climbed on the polished side board, putting the full weight behind the drill I proceeded to drill...... About almost done and in full flow I slipped off the side board, proceeded to crack my arm on the corner, then fell some more and did the same again on the corner of the sofa, all the while the drill flew out of my hand, into my guitar and a glazed photo, both of which made a mega din, glass smashed into lots of splinters, as I was falling further to the ground.
A pain hit in straight away, one that brought back a very old memory of when I fell out of a tree swing many moons ago, same pain I really thought I would see bone coming out of my skin
lay on the deck for a while not wanting to look.
Nothing broken that I can see, it all works, but I have a bit of a bump and cut, which looks like a bite mark lol.
Sore and feeling stupid, but posted up anyway for one reason.
H&S warning.
Don't try and save time with sort cuts, do it right, it could have been much much worse.
Feeling blessed in Berkshire ha ha ha
