Try making sure the fob is nice and warm Kwacky, as a small rise in temp tends to help a nearly knackered battery, of course dipping it in your tea isn't such a good idea.

Thanks both.
I've asked Mrs Kwacky to get me some batteries today. Where I'm based at work means I've got nowhere local enough to walk to in my lunch hour. There's a B&Q near by but it doesn't stock these batteries.

EBay often do them cheap as chips if you can wait a day or two for delivery. Most traders will sell these small batteries for 99p with free 1st class rm delivery. It really makes you wonder how they do it for so little, they must make coppers on each sale.

Yeah, that's true.
I've got a spare fob at home.
Leaving work this evening is the main issue. Hopefully there's enough juice left. I'm fine once I'm home.

If I'd have seen this earlier I could have picked some up and dropped them off at work for you. I live a couple of minutes from where you work.

Whipped the back wheel off, nipped into GS, had the new rear popped on, went home, re fitted wheel, took it out for a quick scrub. Went for an M5 again.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Today I have had a days holiday and I went off for a observed ride. Set off around 9am and met my observer which I haven't seen for a couple of months now due to bike problems etc. Lovely Sun shining day headed to Marlborough then onto the Salisbury Plains total of around 130 miles today. Saw 2 Hercules flying around together and 2 chinooks flying together also saw a group of sky divers starting and ending their jumps. Wish I could of taken some pics stunning
Had a bit of a breath taking moment on the way to Marlborough where I was overtaking what should of been very easy. Well I started my overtake on hatches (in a national speed limit area) and next thing got a tank slapper, had to get off the throttle and I guided my line back onto my side in between a couple of cars. Bloody hell I thought I was a goner!!
On the way back (in a national) I was riding through a little road and a little bridge was in front of me , hit it a tad quick, managed to get air! Both wheels straight up felt like a little bunny hop, I was impressed with myself.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Definitely Kwacky. Must admit when I didn't come off and got settled a bit, I felt like a riding God
It has however opened up my eyes to what unlevelled surfaces can do and it's not something I'm fighting to do again, so I may just stay away from hatches from now on!!

Fitted some Samco hoses to the blade, it took a lot longer than I thought
