Assen Moto - SPOILERS
Dominant ride there from Rossi. Experience and skill showed by the bucketload there.
What an end to the race.

Amazing. Really enjoyed that.
You get the feeling Rossi knew exactly what he was doing

Re: Assen Moto - SPOILERS
Rossi swings over to the left as heads towards that corner, as he did on the previous laps. Marquez saw that and decided to try a straighter line. He's not as far back as some suggest but he's not got his front wheel in front. Rossi also knew that MM would make that move and went across to block him.
It was a good move and one he was right to make. It didn't pay off because Rossi showed experience.

I have to admit I'm warming to Rossi for the first time ever surprisingly.
I guess I like the underdog although with recent form he is more and more becoming the favourite

Re: Assen Moto - SPOILERS
I wouldn't put it past Rossi to have thought this through and almost cajole Marquez into a risky move at that point knowing he could short cut the chicane if Marquez touched him and so win the race.

Re: Assen Moto - SPOILERS
He is a clever old fox and master tactician old Rossi. Its his championship to loose I would say as he has the skills, talent, bike, team and motivation to do it and that is pretty much all the ingredients needed

Re: Assen Moto - SPOILERS
Rossi loves the mind games, which is what made the Stoner v Rossi times such good fun.

Re: Assen Moto - SPOILERS
Apparently Rossi even lifted the front wheel as he entered the gravel to give him momentum to ride straight through it without risking a front wheel wipeout.

I think he lifted both wheels, he bunny hopped into the gravel is the way I saw it
