What oil to use....??

Well its that time of year when the old speedtriple could do with an oil change.

Last time I changed it I used Mobil 1 Racing 4T fully syn, because thats what's recommended in the user Manuel (& at £42 for 4l).

So was just wondering if I should stick with the Mobil 1 or if anyone could recommend another oil just as good....??

If you're happy with it then stick with that.

I love motul but that's more to do with the smell.

Ask Opie Oils really helpful knowledgeable guys and they normal have a promotion on.

Ive used Silkolene Pro 4 4T Fully Synthetic in the passed. I've just had the bike serviced and they use the same stuff as well

I'm not so bothered about the smell, so I prefer....:





However my bike like to use Castrol Power Racing, as specified.

Same as Blade - Opie's are spot on, in fact at the moment they have a promotion on Castrol oils, the current Triumph recommended oil is Castrol Power1 4t fully synth 10/40w, which they are flogging for £34.99 for a 4L can. I'll be getting a couple of cans at that price btw. Fwiw the semi synth is £29 for 4L.
