Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Got back this afternoon after riding up to Durham & back on Saturday to see the Foo Fighters with my brothers. Luckily the weather was on my side it was great both ways, a little breezy that's all. As the forecast looked ok decided to go on the bike instead of driving.
My new ..ish Dainese textile trousers are very comfortable but as they have no padding on the arse I was getting a bit of arse ache, need to look at my options for this for future touring etc or long stints in the saddle.

Took the Multi in for its annual service and took the 1299S demo bike out whilst they did it. I'll put a separate post up later after I have been back to work,

I will revisit the decision making process later in the year but it's much more road useable than the 1199 is.

Yep even race mode was useable. Not sure having a lean angle indicator on the dash is a good idea though....especially with Plod being the vehicle in front.Blade wrote:Did you stick it full phat, mental power, rip your arms of mode ???

Went for a 3 hour bimble around the Worcester lanes, traffic was very busy and ruined it a bit
Got home and noticed the paint on my left hand side of the swing arm is rubbing off where my boot is catching it,the paints micro thin so not very impressed

Yep, it is. Very thin and soft.
It doesn't help that the rearset is close to the swingarm.

Took the tiger out for a spin, fell in love all over again ha ha ha.....no electronics, no abs, no electronic suspension, one basic bike to sit on and ride, really enjoyed it. Popped into see the boys at Bulldog Triumph, just making sure I was still welcome in there ha ha, yep the boss man he said yes.....Phew! They had a massive rocket in the showroom, all black and mean looking, I don't think I could get that back up my driveway if I had one of those, it's a beast.

I know what you mean Frankie. The Blade was electronic aid free and a real pleasure to ride. Probably one of the last great analogue sportsbikes I reckon.

Popped a nice little wheelie off a corner as I came off a roundabout.
