Cheers all. I will have owned it 6 years later this year so everything has been done at a fairly slow pace but I have tried to make every change an improvement on the bike without it losing its original style and appeal.
I would hate to add up how much it has all cost over that time though.
Today I had a hoon around with the 675cc lot up to H Cafe, Loomies and up to Fareham Point. All in around 236 miles were done today, having a blast with this season certainly making up for the past year of missing out [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
^^^^ wot Blade said. That's a awesome bike you've made more awesome. Enjoy the hell out of that awesomeness. Plus you have a Multi when you want a different type of awesome...
You need a house mate?
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
Rode over to Mike's to get a new S20r rear fitted.
I told him Duke how happy you are with his service. He said it's a real feather in his cap that someone who isn't local trusts him to work on their bike. He reckons that engine of yours is spot on. From what he told me there was hardly any changes in it from the last time he serviced it.
Then I rode home in a monsoon. Standing water when the sun out is dangerous. I couldn't see much.
I think he said i had done just over 3000 miles since he last serviced it but he didn't even change the spark plugs as he said they were still perfect.
Whilst i don't thrash the bike, I do like to ride it hard. It only makes about 90bhp so you need to twist the throttle a bit to make it shift.
I cannot fault the work he has done on it since I owned it. It runs as sweet as a nut.
Not today but yesterday I managed to get my hands on the S 1000 RR 2015, what the hell is this thing!!! holy crap it is really really fast in the blink of an eye I was moving like a missile... but it did not feel like it... I also spend too much time looking at the dash... mostly lean angle gauge, not clever on a bike which is into silly numbers in a blink, before you get out of third! very comfy very responsive, clever suspension make for a decent ride.
Lovely bike looks great in black, would I change my R........ no, I like the more upright position on my R for the road, would I like that engine in mine... err hell yeah lmao
It is a different bike to the previous models for sure, the shift assist is amazing no clutch for up or down shifts so smooth and effortless.
Hehe, not my plan to pitch on here, all I would say is give it a go, its well worth it. I would be very disappointed if anyone wanted a BMW and did not get from me. I can deliver
I nicked the R 1200 R tonight, boxer engine water cooled, only done a couple of miles, but you know you get a feeling on a bike pretty quickly, again what a machine, I need more time on this. Tomorrow if dry I think I may be getting up a little earlier than normal ha ha
PS I did forget to mention, the double R has a full Akrapovic pipe on it, the temptation to stay in 3rd down the street rolling on/off the throttle was too tempting like a child messing, popping and banging, AWESOME sound

Ha ha ha ha.... not quiet but I can offer a cracking deal on the PCP scheme, it is so good I wish (now I know about it) I had done it when I bought mine.
