I serviced my hilux and replaced its battery, squared the Ten for the track day next week and fettled on the triumph for the rest of the day till the kids got home then took them to swimming lessons.. All while we dealt with weather that'd make you lot home sick!

Sitting at A&E!
My neighbour cut the tip of his finger off by his chain and sprockets from his go kart!
I didn't realise, he took the pain like a man so when I asked to see it he showed me...wow think he's going to have a stump for a finger now! Poor guy.

I won't praise me too quickly, I laughed when he told me as I thought it was only a cut and he wasn't screaming or anything!!
Yes he is ok I had to take him to Reading A&E waited there for a couple hours maybe a few then they said he would need plastic surgery so had to go to Wexham Park Hospital. Waited until around 11 and we thought he would be all night so he agreed and I headed home. He text me this morning saying thanks (although he didn't stop saying it all night!) He got home around 1 and has an op on Tuesday. I couldn't believe it if I had realised it was only couple hours more I would of stayed and brought him home to his family, poor guy. He had to fork out for a taxi on a Friday night!
When we was at hospital I took a look at the war wound, it's taken around an inch off (the top bone is fully off). It's a shame...his misuses won't be too happy...it's his index finger!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
We needed to go food shopping today. The plan was for the missus to go in the morning so we'd have something nice for lunch.
But seeing as she didn't get up until 11 that went out the window pretty fast.
After some "persuading", it was decided that we'd all go into town, grab a cheeky KFC and then pop to the supermarket.
Unfortunately, when the wife takes me shopping with her bad things tend to happen. Like steak "falling" into the trolley.
Or other things...

This is it next to our old 32".

I reckon the missus won't ask me to go shopping for a while!

Putting anti slip strips on the stairs down to the garage. Yesterday I found out the hard way if you spray fly spray in the stairwell it makes the timber like Teflon!! I lost it at the top of the stairs and took my son out on the way down. We both scored good bruises for the effort.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Had a lovely walk for around an hour and half in a place called Crookham and greenham common with the dog and missus. Lovely and warm with a big breeze that called it down. Lovely
