Nope its on the electrical side i think as more load the better it got. Will check the ht leads and plugs first and work backBlade wrote:All joking aside any idea what was causing the problem ?

On that matter i have seen the hand surgeon and he said mmm you have 3 things wrong with your wrist snapped ligaments , torn tendon and a bone that's the wrong shape. They are going to operate to repair the ligaments as they thing that is causing the pain.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Day One of three on track at Almeria, blasted the gixer 600 around after her little fettle and HM quick shifter install.
Improved every time I went out, already smashed my times on the Beemer from last year. Even on the long straight I am getting out the bottom corner well enough to make a litre bike work to get me just before the braking zone, where my braking is getting later and later ha ha ha, which is good and scary ! All at the same time.
Messed the tyre up a little, turns out the pressure was a little high! She was at 40 due to the heat....Doh! Reduced the pressure a lot, and she cleaned up ok, but the tyre was only going last the day anyway, so this morning I will be whipping the wheel off for a change.
Goal for today is to maintain a good late brake at the end of the main straight, get the long left hander better sorted, it was the only area of the whole track I knew I could go much quicker on, the rest I could improve but small amounts.
Time wise I would like to get down to 2 mins if possible.... Big ask, as yesterday was around 2:08 best times, which were becoming consistent - ish lol, due to traffic, hehe, hark at me, due to traffic.
Not bad times as Rabats is doing. 1.30 something lmao
Oh yeah and I am keeping the tankslap end up by eating a fair amount of cake

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Almost dropped it
Turned into my road, did a u-turn at the end of the road and started to line the bike up to drive across the pavement on to the drive when a parked car without warning pulled out. I was turning right, grabbed the brake and the bike dipped down. Managed to throw my leg down in time and save it. Fecking idiot sat there in his car, staring, then drove off.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Chased an electrical fault on the triumph.
On the weekend I went to give both bikes a run as I do on a regular basis. The Triumph wouldn't start at all. So today I set to it. Battery had heaps of charge and is reasonably new, but to prove the point swapped it out for the Track bike battery. Still no go. Get plenty of life switching the ignition on but just dead to start. Pulled the starter switch out and cleaned it up. Not that. Started checking fuses and bridging out relays. Still nothing. Studying the electrical diagram some more, and spotted something. The clutch micro-switch..
Fecking numpty I am, I hadn't been pulling the clutch in
