BM have you ever tried using a Tens Machine.

I use one quite regular to relieve back pain which is caused through nerve compression in my lower spine. I was very cynical it was a fob off when prescribed one but it genuinely helps. There not expensive and you can go to sleep with them on too to help relieve night time pain.

Just a suggestion mate. Hope things improve.

Willing to try most things if it helps relieve it! I'll see how I get on with the splints and take it from there. My local pharmacy sells TENS machines so if I want to try it I know they're available.

Hope you feel better soon mate. Tens has to be worth a shot. They really do work for me (better than prescription pain killers) so hopefully might help you too. Take it easy pal.
