Prescott Bike Festival,Cheltenham.Run the Hill,12 April 2015
Booking is now possible for this.
Myself and Frankie did it this year and it was a good laugh and a great atmosphere. Plenty of nice bikes, classics and race bikes to watch and its a fabulous spot in the countryside.
Its purely for fun, the run only takes a minute or so and you get two runs on the day. I've booked for the Sunday only.
Highly recommended for £35. get booking if you want a go as its sells out very quickly.

Re: Prescott Bike Festival,Cheltenham.Run the Hill,12 April
When I lived in Gloucester I used to go to the odd hill climb at Prescott , if nothing else it's a lovely place especially on a sunny afternoon. I used to take my little lad and we would grab a sped half way up the hill and watch the old boys in their pristine cars bounce off the embankment or roll them back down the hill.............. Great fun. Never saw any bikes though ? Still, have fun and watch out for those slippy hairpins LOL

Re: Prescott Bike Festival,Cheltenham.Run the Hill,12 April
Excellent day and great to meet up with Frankie and Kingfixer. Its such a beautiful place in the Cotswolds and all a bit of fun.
Weather was really good down there but didn't quite make it home dry. Just 10 minutes from home I got completely soaked by a downpour.
My leathers have no waterproof properties.
Bestest thing i found out today though was that this single event raises 80% of the annual income needed to run the Blood Bikes charity for whom this event is held.

I didn't know that what a good cause. Fubbily enough I have seen blood bikers about 3 times in the last fortnight.
Glad you had a good day. Got any photos ?

Yes I will try and upload some later.
I am absolutely knackered now. Frankie took a load of photos. There were some gorgeous ex -race 748/916 bikes there.

Well done.
I didn't realise that's where the money went. Great cause.

Great Fun, good to catch up with Si, been way too long, weather was kind to us, busy place, lots to see and do.
Well worth the effort, and I managed to smash my time from last year (unofficial times they don't time) just me with the onboard vid. That and pics will be posted this week at some point.
The tiger did me proud once again....
The ride home was fun as the Rat boys were there again in support, along with Owen (farmer1) you have to love that b4077 out to Stow

For Frankie. I think she must have run away home at lunchtime with all the offers of a ride.
