checked the tyre pressures & oiled the chain, may go to work on it tomorrow. Oh and ordered a new screen for it, im virtually out of the air turbulence but not quite so hopefully this will do it

Was on the PB forum, Blade.

Had a chat with Johnny Mack about the bikes, I think Rutter was in race mode. There isn't much difference by all accounts but the R1 struck me as very quiet and the Panigale as very loud.

The lap times are datalogged and JM was telling me that Rutter would cane the bike for a few laps and then eventually come in and say that there was no way that bike could go any faster. He always knew without seeing the times which was his fastest lap even down to 3/10ths of a second difference.

Sounds like an ace day Duke :-). Meet Rutter at a ducati shop years ago does not look like a racer and very quite bloke he lets his riding do the talking by the looks.

I wonder if any were quicker than JM's long-term zx10r which currently holds the pb record at mallory with Rutter as the pilot

This is sad but I do actually know. 53.94 for Johnny Macs modded TEN. Does the record still belong to team green ?

I don't think it does though its only what i over head them saying of a 53.80.

No. Low mode is about 105bhp and full fat is 140bhp.

It was the stock R1. I think their findings were different to the recent MCN test but I am sworn to secrecy over the actual results.

The BMW hp4 was quick with Rutter on it at mallory and only somethig like 0.34 behind the zx10 so could be the beemer I guess. How stock was the beemer ? The few I have seen in dealers have been blinged up with options, sports pack, semi active sus, forged wheels, race exhaust etc...
