They're a good price for what they are and Datatool is well known. The reviews seem decent.

Ebay is great, isn't it?
Used for £299
Or brand new for £340.

They're probably fake at that price. It's a European seller.
I'm not changing the exhausts. Bike is staying stock as much as possible.

Mike at MES took the 748 away yesterday evening for a full service. Should hopefully be back for Easter.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Attempting to get insurance sorted for the bikes. Trying to get an existing policy changed is a nightmare. One company would only give me a no claims on the zx6r so with no discount the insurance for the SX was making the handler laugh.
I'll try our mates at Bikesure.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
my son has just got a brand spankers 2014 R1 , he still has his 2008 R1 and had to cancel the insurance on that and get a multibike policy to cover them both as the cost of 2 separate policies was astronomical as they wouldn't give him any NCD on a policy for the new bike

That's what's happened to me with my current insurer. Fully comp with a 0 yrs NCD was painful.Jack wrote:my son has just got a brand spankers 2014 R1 , he still has his 2008 R1 and had to cancel the insurance on that and get a multibike policy to cover them both as the cost of 2 separate policies was astronomical as they wouldn't give him any NCD on a policy for the new bike

Yes always had to go multi bike route as unfortunately you can only use the ncb on one policy. Seems stupid as if ncb is used to assess risk your not higher risk on the second bike and you can only ride one at a time.

Same here ncb is a big money making scam it should be against the person not a veichle. Makes my blood boil just thinking about it.Kwacky wrote:That's what's happened to me with my current insurer. Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
It is daft.
The other thing pissing me off is that they ignore all of the extra security I've bought. The squire padlock, the 16mm chain and the groundanchor cost well over £200 but they're not interested.

Peace of mind for you though mate and your right to rake security seriously IMO.
