Re: Special Brew
I think it had that blue something or other in it. All I know is it got you smashed and as we normally only ordered them when we were already smashed ultimately we would end up double smashed.

Re: Special Brew
Do you remember when the press wnet made about alcopops? Hooch and all those sweet but strong drinks?
I never got into them. Too sickly for my tastes.

Re: Special Brew
Not liking lager, they came onto the drinking scene shortly after I did.
At the time they were a godsend, however I can not-so-distinctly remember that the easy drinkability of them led to a resurgence of the aforementioned liquids far too often.
(I drank too much and threw up a lot)
On the plus side, hooch and bacardi breezers tasted almost the same on the way out as they did on the way in!
