He did and then at the end of the season he was beating the Honda he will be riding next season, very comfortably.
I don't think the satellite Hondas are quite as 'factory' as made out.
I'm also told he will be riding for nothing next season.

Could that be because contractually he is still 'on the hook' in some way with Ducati??....I mean, they did pay him off??

No idea but I do know the ride was offered to someone else before Crutchlow and he turned it down mainly due to the fact he would earn very little for riding the bike.
