Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
Hello!! Real name is Ro, I'm already on 1000rr forum but new here. I'm 26, into my 6th year on two wheels... now my 2nd year of having only two wheels as my car died of old age (1959 Morris). Based in Reading and ride around on a Fireblade 954 (the best one?!) love getting out and about for cafe rides so if anyone fancies burning some fuel drop me a message

Hi Ro. Welcome onboard.
I'm based in Mortimer just outside reading. Looks like we are going to be organising some southern rideouts next year. Frankie has got a great list of cafes we should try

Hi and welcome Ro, good to have you along - I suspect cafe rides may turn into cafe crawls from the cake related comments on here at times.
Can't beat an old Moggy minor, I've some very fond memories of my parents BRG Moggy ragtop in my childhood, also remember sitting on the front cross member with a paintbrush and jar of paraffin cleaning out the bell housing while Dad had the engine out, prior to a Gold Seal lump going back in. My Mother nailed his head to the wall when she saw the state of me after that.

Hi To welcome to the site mate.
954's totally rock. Had one a few years back until I wrote it off in a track day and was gutted it was an amazing bike.

Sure was a Moggy... she isn't dead as such, more a 4-pages-of-MOT-fail sort of death... excessive corrosion on every possible pointStMarks wrote:Welcome to the forum Ro, would that have been a Moggy that expired on you.?
My baby brother killed a few of them in his time.

She's called Ziggy, a 1959 Blue/grey saloon with a 1300cc Midget engine lurking inside her. She was my daily drive during the winter until she was dry stored 2yrs ago... now I'm down to 2 wheels only!

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
We always get a bag of chips and a carton of gravy so we can dunk them in the gravy
but then I would say we are sophisticated northerners
