Just get riding again. What with one thing and another. I've barely ridden it this year.

I know how you feel, I've only ridden about 3k miles this year when normally I'm closer to 8k a year. (I'm a sado and I record all my petrol stops so I can see exactly how many miles I've covered)

To be honest this year it is probably below 1000. I used to do similar miles to your 8000, but these last 3-4 years has seen that curtail significantly.
I feel a bit of a fraud claiming to be a biker at the mo.

If only there was something on the motorbike to record mileage

13,500 miles now for my speed triple (from new in July 2013) And that was with barely riding last winter.
I suppose I better think about my 11,000 miles service......

2015 looks like being our third season of racing at Thundersport
maybe get out and about a little more on the blade too? this year seemed to be one or the other, but not both as it takes over your life
Ohh and our annual holiday at the TT, that's just got to be done

I'm booked on to do my ACU course in Feb (hopefully not in the snow and ice!)
I'm hoping to race in the 600 newcomers series with no limits!
I've got the feelers out for some financial help as well! the college I work for may be tempted to dip in to one of their many budgets to give me some money to help and in return I may have to paint my bike pink and purple and put the college logo on! All that's just hear say!

Doing that speedway course or trying some off roading is also on the cards for next year.

Yep. Tricky mentioned the speedway course in autumn but the place he suggested had sold out for the year. I'm on the mailing list for 2015 dates.

Yep i'm in for that too.
That brief afternoon on the KTM Motox bikes left me wanting to learn more about getting the back end sliding a little.
I still might try out the Ady Smith KTM School or similar in the late winter/early spring.
