Biking Plans for 2015

Just wondered what you're all planning

Me .... I was seriously considering px'ing for the new MT09 Street Rally but we've had a change in circumstances back home so thats a no go

One of the Spudlets is seriously wanting to go on the back of the bike which would mean me having to dig the pillion seat out and find the rear pegs for Doris

Today, I've washed the car and bike and sat around doing sweet FA so after a little chat, I've had the 'faint' green light for a 2nd bike.
I'm not going to get too excited about it as it will simply be something like a Fazer 600 / Bandit 600 / Triumph Tiger / SV650 / Tourer
Something I can ride most conditions without too much concern about love and attention.
Bonus would be something I could afford which would also be a reliable track hack for the odd occasion

Not in a rush to do it but will consider if any crop up

As many track days as I can squeeze out of my work roster

And finally get the Daytona back on the road, there's less than a weeks work and a paint job to do, it's just finding the time!

And I don't know if it will pan out, but looking into a trip back to NZ for about a week, hire a bike and go on a bit of a road trip with my Dad. We have never riden together, apart from me being his pillion as a kid.

More next year as only a limited amount this year.

Debating a change of bike to something more fun, maybe an off-roader as well.

For the last 5 or 6 years I've enjoyed do 'challenge' rides, these are rides where each year you have a number of places to visit and you have to take a photo of your bike as evidence of you visiting them, this has helped me get out and about all over the UK, I've been to historic battlefields, motorcycle museums or places of motorcycle interest (e.g. where the old Triumph factory used to be), castles and even sculptures.

Next year I will be doing more of the same, getting out on my bike and enjoying the bike, roads, things to see and places to go, banter with my mates and living the life.

Two Euro track days have deposits down Almeria and Jerez, As well as that get out as much as possible, eat cake and catch up with you lot. Want to get some uk track days sorted as well if possible.
Would love to cram a euro trip or IOM in somewhere. If not possibly a long weekend somewhere. Phew! Think that's my wish list.

I booked in for two courses at the i2i Academy when at the NEC. Had a good chat with the guy who runs it and what was he was saying seems to focus on the things that hold me back from improving.

2015 is looking like a hell of a year so far...

A primary focus is going to be spending time with the trackbike getting more comfortable. The plan is to take in a few of the faster circuits in the UK, with the hope to get my track riding up to scratch for Jerez. I'm not sure what the plans are for road riding next year, the RSV is pretty much sorted apart from a bit of maintenance. I'd like to get a few decent rides in, but may have to make sacrifices for track days.

Changing the rsv to what i dont know a litre 4 stroke it will be the best bike i can get for the cash in my hand

Hopefully riding lots doing lots of trackdays and ride outs

Maybe getting an off roader if i do get one it will be a cheap as chips hack.
