Getting it collected tonight.
Typical - the roads have been busy and the weather has been dry. Not the week for using the car

Fitted a couple of carbon fibre bits, the cover on the exhaust is a temporary measure till I can afford a new can, not that you can see it in the pic

Got the RSV out as it was in the way, looked at the state of it after the stow ride and promised it a proper clean next weekend. Fired the track bike up as its been stood for a few weeks now, didn't take much persuasion. Amazing really considering its age.

Had a call from Mike. The bike is 1200 miles off the valve checks and clearances. Do I want it doing now?
Simple answer, even if it means the kids have no presents this Christmas.

Got it back!
Mike has done a full service and valve checks. He said the valves were spot on, which is good news seeing as it's had a thrashing this year. Throttle bodies have been adjusted. New plugs, air and oil filters and brakes fluids.
Let's hope it's dry tomorrow for the ride into work

Nothing much better than a newly serviced bike...other than a new bike... or new tyres.

The bike certainly felt crisp this morning.
I managed to stretch the legs on a couple of straights and she's spinning up sweet

Found a private road and discovered that 135mph in 4th is when the rev limiter kicks in

I know you were talking about looking at other bikes but I wasn't expecting you to do anything for a while.
Have you taken all the bling off?

Today and tonight are removing bling time as a rushed sale which was agreed today but needs completing by tomorrow, so I'm a busy boy.
