In brief the boss of Sivlerstone has has the government to look at state funding towards the Circuit of Wales. They say it's giving the circuit an advantage which would be unfair to other tracks.
An injection of funds by the Welsh and/or UK governments to the Circuit of Wales project would amount to a transfer of state resources, which gives Circuit of Wales an economic and selective advantage over other circuits. As such, it could amount to illegal state aid
This could get spicy.

I believe its' illegal for governments to fund such projects under EU law.
I think Jerez has been or is about to be prosecuted for the same thing.
The Liberty stadium in Swansea is also being investigated for something similar.
