Rode it up a steep Alpine pass and down the other side to Lake Como. Sat outside on the edge if the Lake in the hot sunshine eating a fresh Panini with a perfect Cappucino watching endless lines of hot Italian Totty walk by and the caned it through the tunnels and down the Italian motorway to San Marino.

the criteria is no race numbers or slick tyres, 105db. you can also do a morning or afternoon session, £60/£40, and to be honest a morning session (till 1pm) is enough, but i had paid for all day so just carried on.Kwacky wrote:I've not ridden Darley Moor. Tempted now.

Took it for a blast, tried out some new roads, not too impressed with them but oh well, also wasn't too impressed with my riding on reflection now, wasn't as smooth as I'd like , partly due to traffic but still, I guess reflecting on it means I can think about how to improve next time

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Fitted my Arrow exhausts.
While I had the Exhaust Ypiece and silencers off it would have been a great opportunity to clean the bike and the rear shock. But I didnt. Next time maybe when I have more time...
Started it up briefly, sounded pretty good. I'm actually looking forward to riding to work tomorrow.

took the rad off the race bike so as to get a leak repaired. swapped the rear shocks for stiffer ones and dropped the forks through the yokes on the spare bike, hopefully it'll handle better now.

Took it for a gentle ride up to wantage and then down the 338 to Sailsbury. I love that road.
Had a very nice chat with a bloke in sailsbury and bought it a friend to share the shed with. All being well I should have a track bike being delivered on thursday
The ride back in the dark was hard, it's been a while since I've ridden when it's been properly dark. My eyes must have been touching the visor they where that far out on stalks.

Rode it in the rain. Had a nice front wheel slide on a metal cover on a roundabout. Who the chuff puts a large metal plate in the middle of a lane on a roundabout?

Oil and filter ordered. I'll give the kwak a refresh this weekend. I need to do the brakes as well. I keep putting it off.
