A local pub has had a refurb and is doing 30% off meals so me and Mrs K have been for Sunday lunch. I like my beef on the rare side, but it was near the end of service and it's a boozer, not a restaurant. Otherwise it was really good food.b

It's been another healthy weekend!

Yesterday: sausage and bacon bap, chocolate orange brownie, pizza, and too much wine.

Today: five guys burger and chips

Rump steak and hash browns.

The steak was from a butcher. Ten times better than the supermarket crap.

We’ve had a paddock to plate meat wholesalers open near us. Butchers locally have been very over priced so hasn’t been economical though the quality is much superior to supermarkets. Now with the wholesale outlet, we are getting the best of both worlds, fantastic quality at great prices. Win win.
