Has passed away.
She was pretty iconic. If you wanted to choose someone who symbolised the 60s she would surely be on the short list.

I was just looking her up.....a long career, and a lot of albums. 'As Tears Go By' is the only track that comes to mind, but as you say, it's still a fairly iconic example of the 60s.
