A 3 hour drive down to Bournemouth. I'm here for a couple of days to cover an inquest.

I'm off to see Pond. They're big mates with Tame Impala. The two bands have swapped bands members over the years. Should be a good gig.

Cycling.....maybe??
There's an Excessive Heat Warning in effect today (and tomorrow, I think) so I'm going to play it by ear. Doesn't feel too bad at the moment, though.

Went out.....short & sweet ride...12 miles at an easy pace. And yes, it was WAAY too hot, but still felt good. I'm not even remotely knackered.

Watching the app for our new solar install, it's quite interesting.

We've had 10 panels installed along with 2 batteries. I messed up the battery charging last night so we ended up using grid power until about 10am when the sun came out. Since then we've been totally solar, and as it fully charged the batteries we're using them at the moment, zero taken from the grid.

It’s pretty satisfying hey?

I had a lie in. Woke up at 11. That was clearly much needed. I reckon I would have slept for longer, I was woken up by the dog barking.

Very! Another good day of sun and me regretting charging the batteries last night. At least 3 hours where the system had nothing to do, so effectively shut down and just dumped electricity. It takes about 4-6 weeks to get all setup so you can switch to an export tariff.

I was checking them out on youtube, they've got a very '80s vibe about them.
Me like. (y)
I think you posted a video a while back...looks very familiar.

It's not the first time I've seen them so there's a good chance I posted something before.

Instructing a solicitor. I made an offer on an apartment in Buxton last week, and fingers crossed I could be in by Christmas.

Most importantly this is the garage, it's communal but I should have enough space for at least 4 bikes!

No, primary home. I've been renting a one bedroom flat for the last 18 months while we sorted out the financial part of the divorce. All sorted now, and need more space for the kids (and bikes).

Sorry to hear this fella. Never an easy time. I hope it’s all worked out sensibly.
