Re: A bad day on Derbyshire roads
Came here to post this. That's 12 this year so far, 9 in the last month.
At least one of them, and I suspect more will be directly linked to the state of the roads. One guy hit a pothole on the Cat and went under a lorry.

That's a horrible, horrible accident....very sad. I don't even want to think about what that crash site must have looked like.

Re: A bad day on Derbyshire roads
I was just about to post this. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2167898 ... 6216562039
I had a tw@t on a death wish last weekend. I'd turned off a main road onto another main road riding solo. The road was straight and I was behind a car. I checked my mirror as I turned into the road and saw a bike had appeared from nowhere. As it was straight and the car was going slow I was going to take him but this tw@t decided to take us both before I had chance.

Re: A bad day on Derbyshire roads
Oh and I was riding the same road the week before and the driver in front of me was smoking a spliff. I thought the smell was coming off the fields to start with until I passed him and the smell went.
