20-mile road ride on my MTB....I think I slashed my best time.....there was nearly zero traffic out there this morning, the weather was perfect, and sometimes you just end up in that perfect zen zone where the miles just float by without fanfare.

I got my suspension back from a service so ran the same trail back to back while bracketing damping. Happy with compression I moved onto rebound. I ran it faster which was excellent for grip but beat up my hands so then I ran it slower. Over the crest is a left hand bend with the 'blue' tree being on the right of the trail.
The rebound was too slow and I got airborne, therefore I went straight and couldn't make the turn. Realising I'm headed straight foe the tree I change tac and aim to run off the trail. Except I hit a thick branch and went over the bars. Doh!
I've buggered my wrist and took a thick sharp branch to the inside of the knee. Was still an enjoyable ride though!!

It was actually a really nice place to lay down for 5 minutes and enjoy nature...

I think I might have gone a bit too heavy on the rack pulls. My back is already aching.

Good ache. I only did 4 back exercises - rack pulls, bent over rows, wide grip lat and cable rows but it's hit every part of my back. I'll be walking around like a ninja turtle for a couple of days.

My daughter is back home now she's finished university. She's joined my gym and has been forcing me to go. I've got no excuses now.

I dragged my wife to the gym. She wasn't impressed with the leg routine I gave her.

Went to the gym and did some leg exercises. The knees still play up but they're getting better.

Re: The new improved fitness thread
That's the first time in a very long time I've felt sick in the gym. Doing warm ups with the weighted sleigh then going in to deadlifts wasn't the greatest idea.
