Sprint Races?

There's an exceptional press conference tomorrow. The gossip is that MotoGP will have sprint races.

I'm all for it. Bikes are made for this sort of race.

Trying to improve the attendances with no Rossi or Marquez? Can you imagine MM93 in a sprint race :D

The riders seem a touch divided over the idea.

It would be good to see what the machines are capable of when not restricted by tyre wear

I'm all for it. Racing is what we want to see. WSBK is a better format.
