Opened up a letter from my Niece, I got her the complete set of "how to train your dragon" series for her birthday and she is made up... 10 years old already! smart as you like and cheeky as hell....little madam.
I am sure I never spoke to adults like she does when I was 10.

Well so far its worked, no noises last night...But I do need to fix it properly. But it wont be me, I can't do anything once I get to the top of the ladderStMarks wrote:My neighbor says that Squirrels are just cute looking Rats with fluffy tails Fkkr1s.
They are quite adept though, so your "rammed bricks" may only prove a minor inconvenience mate.:

How odd.Frankie wrote:Last night I had some strange noises coming from the loft, so when I got home tonight I went up to investigate.... Came face to face with a squirrel, little barsteward has pulled the side of the soffit off and crawled in![]()

Caught his eyes with the torch.. anyway I thing I managed to scare him out for now.
Got the big ladder out to get up to the soffit to try and fit a board over and block it!!!!!![]()
I am not good with heights on a ladder that's for sure...I made 5 attempt's before I could get to the top

Anyway while I was up there I could do sod all, I was just clinging on. In the end I rammed some bricks in to plug the gap for the time being, I need to get someone in, I just cant deal with the ladder bit, I really thought I was going to fall off
It is on a slope as well, I had visions of it slipping away from me.
Anyway I will see if its worked tonight
We were woken by noises the other night, once I told the missus it was probably rats she couldn't get back to sleep. She ended up sleeping on the sofa!
The next day I read your post. Never thought about squirrels though. Oh well, a couple of rat traps from B&Q will soon have us finding out what they are/were!

The little bugger was trying to dig throughout the insulation, I could see scratch marks on the other side of the ceiling.
So far so good... Now if I can only get rid of the noisy shits next door life would be grand.

Do you need a reference? If not, tell her you will either walk out or help handover your job nicely if she lets you go nicely.Cavetroll87 wrote:Typical my boss is gunna try and be akward about my notice, was hoping to go end of next week but im not sure shes gunna let me
Nothing she can do basically.
