...... looks like a Z-23 Auto-cannon....a fairly serious piece of hardware in it's time - enough to ruin anyone's day. Old though.... been around since at least the 1960s.

US have said the deal is un workable and have refused to participate .
US intelligence reckons Russia has lost about 10% of its invasion hardware so far. Troop losses are 3,000 to 5,000. Ukraine say it's about 11,000 killed, injured, missing or captured.

My personal opinion is the same, however, they have to think about the possible consequences.
The main point is that Russia has banned UK airplanes from airspace and if they've done the same on Polish vehicles then it would be making the first official move into a multi-nation war.
Assuming it's true, not scripted, and not 3 people trying to save their own arses in a shit situation. It shows the amazing humility of the Ukrainians towards hostile invaders, I hope they manage to keep this moral high ground as it will win the support of the world public.
It also shows the true power of media control and how easy it is to spread disinformation to your advantage.

They reckon there's been Russian spys and sabs in Ukraine cities for over a year.
There's an audio clip online. B it's allegedly an intercepted call where a soldier brags about killing prisoners (it's not clear if it's civilians or POWs)
Pro-Russian DNR Separatists have been sent from the Donbass to Melitopol to maintain order. Basically they're going to start dealing with Pro-Ukraine protests.
Chechen troops have been filmed patrolling the outskirts of Kyiv, stopping people, asking for papers and breaking into houses for "security reasons"
This is where it gets really nasty. Putin is using foreign troops for the nasty shit and start terrorising the local populations.
City fighting is only ever messy. Does this feel like we are the Capitol audience of Hunger Games to anyone else?
Nato and Putin are opposition game makers while Ukraine are the District members fighting for survival, thrown into the game by the game makers. Meanwhile, Russian and pro-Russian forces are the poison fog and human-eating monkeys thrown in to spice it up.
It's sickening. It almost feels like this is supposed to be entertainment by some sickos!
Japan are reigniting their feud with Russia over the Kuril Islands. Its a good distraction for Ukraine.
I did see an interview with an American Colonal/Commander (not sure which) and he mentioned a "rather lovely city" in Russia bordering two NATO countries. He said, "it would be a shame if anything happened to it" and went on to say how ground and air forces are already being mobilised.
