Does anyone ever take any notice of these petitions? They seem pointless to me.

Dunno but makes me feel better, they did the road that goes from mine towards Brands Hatch, its very twisty, and not overly busy so was lethal for a long time, even now I still have to ride very much aware of the amount of gravel still on the road, also they seem to have just gone around man hole covers so there a goofd inch and a half drop so if you hit one of them it is like hitting a curb, really not good

It's cheap, that's all the councils are interested in, I have no doubt they'd love to have decent roads that don't fall apart after a snowfall just to keep the great unwashed off their backs, but they just can't afford it on the current financial support from the government. Until we stop spending more than we earn I can't see it changing either.

Sefton Council must have gotten a cheap job lot of the stuff, cos half the roads in Formby, Bootle Crosby and Southport have been covered in the stuff over the last month or so.

I reckon Basingstoke got a better deal.. Last week every fecking road I drove on there had been "dressed"
