The owners of that ship may well just go bust with those fines. I bet there are legal challenges for the good not arriving as well as the Suez blockage itself.

I hadn't realized that the Suez Canal has been around for 150+ years... I'd thought that both it, and the Panama Canal were both 20th century creations.

I don't see them getting the fines paid, it will end up in courts for years and years and years.... someone will make money out of this one !
Shortages of goods will end up costing us all more money in the end as well.
