On a channel where you don't have to cough up another £15 a month to watch it !!

agreed with both suggestions.
A sorted Donington would be ace but they've got to improve the facilities.

Yeah, i actually dont think the current donny is an interesting circuit for racing. It mostly comes down to block passing on the melbourne loop.

It would be good to get to another race, but silverstone has never been a place I've wanted to goto as a spectator. IMO it's just too big, and many other race tracks offer a much better experience to the spectator.

I really don't like Silverstone. Too big and too many fences.
Wales would be a nice change. Donny is a great track but the facilities are tired.

Have they proposed a location for this stadium of Wales? Never been to Donny so can't comment on that. In fact, I haven't been to silverstone either! A new place for the riders to learn would be good thoigh

Interesting tweet from Stuart higgs this morning....
So to recap in last 6 mths MotoGP has lost 1m regular tv viewers per race & the Brit GP will be held at a track that's not built - cracking

Why has it lost viewers? Is this due to it going to BT sport? I know I've only seen one race now Eurosport no longer have it. I know its repeated in the week, but I dont watch TV then. I liked watching racing on the weekend.

I will be very surprised if the track is ever built in Wales.
Silverstone have said that they could not run a viable event in the future with the money Dorna wanted to host it. So how will an unbuilt circuit that is in the middle of nowhere make a profit from it?
And who is going to fund this circuit? As i understand it, you cannot use government money to build sporting venues under EU rules.

National stadiums built for the common good are different.
Funding of privately owned facilities by government cash breaks competition rules.

Swansea football stadium is currently being investigated because it was funded by the local council and currently runs at a loss.
