Ducati Up Map Key
Any Ducati owners had a re-map? Just asking as my 15 plate Scrambler has a Termi on, bought it with it on. I've read that if you put an after market slip on on it needs re-mapping. If the bike has been re-mapped you get a 'race' message come up on the dash when you turn the ignition on? Mine doesn't have this message. Also I've read that if it hasn't been re-mapped it'll pop and crack a lot on deceleration which mine does also. I've got a receipt for the Termi and it looks like it was bought the same time as the bike was bought brand new. Seems odd that if this is the case that it wasn't re-mapped by the dealer when it was bought. I'll ring them and try and get some info about the bike. Does anyone have any info they could share?

Re: Ducati Up Map Key
Only a Ducati dealer can upload the map.
They used to come in a memory stick but I think now the dealer gets it sent via online from the factory direct when the exhaust is purchased

Re: Ducati Up Map Key
I would give Neil at Cornerspeed a call for some advice.
Sounds like an imported can to me. Does it have a part number? If so you can check it here.

Odd that an English dealer supplied it? I'm happy with it but just thought it might need re-mapping after reading about it on the web.

Re: Ducati Up Map Key
Could be that race cans have that wording on them to cover Ducatis back when sold in Europe.

Re: Ducati Up Map Key
Update: I phoned the dealer who sold the bike from new earlier. They updated their computers in 2017 so have no information to hand before that (so he said). He did say that it would have had an up map but as it was an older model with a very basic clock it wouldn't show 'race' when the ignition is turned on. Still none the wiser. I'll ask Ducati Worcester if they can check for me when I take it for its next service.
