Ten years ago Marco Simoncelli lost his life on the track. I was at Mallory Park at the time watching amateur racing in the Thundersport series. A bloke came over to me and my mate and told us the news. Watching the race back was horrible, his helmet came off ;(

Fitting that this weeks' GP is at Misano. Rossi's mind will be all over the place.

I remember most just how disturbing it was to watch... was late at night/v. early morning here.... went to sleep thinking the worst, and woke up to see that it had come to pass. Very sad day.
