Did you ever try the Rivale, Kwacky?

No. It's an older model and they only did a short run of them so I wasn't very tempted.

I didn't realise. I thought it was a fascinating alternative to the Hypermotard, a bike I've always been intrigued by.

The Rivale looked like it was trying to be a bit of everything without excelling at anything.

Supposed to be a dirt bike feeling road bike. Stable to motorway speeds, fun and flickable down the lanes.

The seating position was very cramped for long journeys so you'd only want it for say, 100 mile fun runs.

Which is about the tank range
