I've come in to work on the MV. It's not been ridden for a couple of weeks.
It certainly felt fresh this morning and the sun is at that lovely right in your eyes angle for this time of year.

Got the dead bugs off it and cleaned the chain, I was going to add more bugs first but I couldn't find petrol and got down to 10 miles range by the time I got home, try again tomorrow...

And today, on my last day off I still don't want to tangle with the masses at the petrol pumps so I called BeMoto and parted with some money to insure it.
£392.13 for their Titanium cover didn't seem too bad after comparing meercats and getting only 1 cheaper quote, for bare bones cover.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Snowfoam and a microfibre wash mitt with Autoglym car shampoo, then rinse and dry. I'm just using up some Demon Foam and it works well enough at softening up bug guts and general road grime.
The best thing I have found for chain lube fling is WD-40 on a cheap microfibre, which can then be used for the chain itself as they're so cheap it's not worth washing them.
I haven't put C2 (Gtechniq C2) on it yet but will after it's next wash, the paint protection film should be fully dry by then.

Fitted a new SP connect wireless charger for my iPhone on the bike.

Fitted the engine bars to the Multi
And this morning I ran out of fuel on the Triumph
Thanks to a Land Rover driver for coming to my rescue and going to fetch me some fuel to get me to the garage. I was 2 miles away when I ran out. He wouldn’t accept any cash either. Absolute star.
And f u to all the bikers who rode past me whilst stranded without so much as an acknowledgement.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I fitted some GIVI bits, dropped a tiny M4 nut which didn't hit the floor but had a replacement in the "Random Crap Box" and got all geared up for a ride then saw the rain coming.
I always give a rider at the side of the road a thumbs up / thumbs down, if they respond with thumbs up I ride on with a wave, Thumbs down I stop and see if I can help... Most riders I ride with do the same so I thought it was the norm?

Dropped the SX off to have some bits fitted.
Back in full commuting mode. I only clipped one wing mirror.

Used the MV to commute to work.
I stopped off at the petrol station. An old boy behind me in the queue smiled at me. He said "Go on son, give it some" then laughed. Told me he wished he could have a go.

The Brutale gets more looks and comments than any other bike I've owned.

I could see that happening. A Brutale has so many more small details to take in compared to it's plastic-clad race-replica siblings.

Thrashed them around a stubble track in the mud then spent two hours washing them

Moved the bikes around and put the MV at the back of the garage. Then threw a cover over it. I can't see me riding it again until spring. I might get it out before the salt hits the road.

Took the SX into work. Commuting is effortless on that thing.
