The email postman delivered me some good news that I'm waiting to confirm....
Virgin Media have written off all but £1.33 of my now £200+ bill. It seems quoting their publicly available code of practice to them works wonders.

Paddock stand bobbins and rear wheel spindle bobbins for the V4.
the front spindle protector from my V2 Multi has fitted the V4 so gald i did not sell that.

My upgraded driving licence, nothing to show on the card but a check online verified that I can now drive a class C with supervision...
Looks like revision is in my immediate future for the tests.
