Just cleaned the house ready for friends coming over. Now time for coffee and breakfast before tackling the garden.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Finished my Traffic Offenders Program online. Took about 16-18 hrs all up.
I actually got a lot more out of the course than I expected. Definitely will have an impact on my attitude out on the bike now.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Today was quiet and just had me going to my brother's to feed the cats (he's gone to the coast for a couple of days with his Mrs) and fitting a hand rail over the bath for my parent's after tracking down some tile drills.
Also did some reading on the current HGV driver shortage, pay rates and the way drivers are treated... I'm starting to wonder if that career move would be wise. Not having to deal with passengers would be nice though

You must have the patience of a saint mate, I couldn't deal every day with public like that. And from what I've heard on the news, a lot of HGV do have passengers these daysStonesie wrote:Today was quiet and just had me going to my brother's to feed the cats (he's gone to the coast for a couple of days with his Mrs) and fitting a hand rail over the bath for my parent's after tracking down some tile drills.

about 2. That's about all we have left in field life, so the job will be gone anyway. And it will nicely coincide with jess finishing her nursing degree and I should be freehold (or very close to it) on the house.D41 wrote:How many more years do you think you have in you doing that....????kiwikrasher wrote:Flying offshore.

Re: What are you doing today ??
More of the same today except picking a mate up from dropping his GS off for a puncture repair, dopy sod saw a pallet on the road and thought his tractor could handle that no problem so just ran it over, might cost him a rear tyre.
Then did the weekly shop and took mum for an eye test while I got a haircut and a quick gym session in. Just half an hour on the elliptical trainer
Oh and a new pollen filter arrived for the cage, 15 mins it said on the box so I timed myself, 2:35, it's really easy on this car.

Its under the scuttle panel on the Pug 2008.
Bonnet up, remove clip out cover, open flap, slide out both sections and reverse with new Bosch carbon activated filter.

Painting the new shed...
I think that's 5 hours over 2 days, including making. Reckon another 3 or so hours tomorrow and it should be done.
Then to order the insulation, cladding, and start fitting the pile of electrical stuff..

Today is more painting, before packing the caravan and heading off down into the new forest with the kids.
Leaving Mrs nutz behind so she can catch up with friends and have a break before the school holidays start.
