Fock. That's unbearable.Monty wrote:Not today to off to a funeral on the south coast tomorrow and it's going to be a really bad one. Not sure how he's going to get through tomorrow. Not sure I could, it's literally my worse nightmare as a parent.
What are you doing today ??

Yeah bloody awful for everyone, but as a parent it really does hit home. Honestly don't know how they are doing it, his partner actually found her! Truly is utterly tragic.

I got flashed by a speed camera. M42. 60mph stretch in-between two 70mph. My own fault.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Busy day at the home office, tidied and cleaned the workshop and garden, showed some family the workshop (they want to build a home office in their garden), eaten a pizza and now sat in Midwife Triage as Mrs Cav has been having a little bit of leakage over the last few days.. just a check to see if its amniotic fluid or not.

Baby Cav is due in a week. We're home now, Midwives did a speculum to assess and were confident the fluid was not amniotic.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Just cleaned the oven using our home brew cleaner (IPA, Distilled Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Bicarb) and now I think I'm drunk through inhalation. This is a bizarre feeling. I feel sick as a parrot! (<I've never understood that saying)

Re: What are you doing today ??
It comes from "Parrot Disease"..... which killed a lot of people back in the 50s or 60s. I'm guessing in Africa, or wherever it is that parrots live. Heck, we have wild parrots in SoCal, so it could have been anywhere, I suppose.

Hmmm.... it turns out that parrots are native to almost anywhere that's warm. Who knew??
