Well I did get out and stayed dry for an hour or so, got as far as the departure lounge and then Loomie. Rain came down! No worries I have my lightweight rain jacket from 24-MX. ( the one they replaced before due to the zip going)
Well it went again, bloody zip like cheese..... Binned it in a bin in Basingsoak!!! Bloody piece of crap.
Oh and in Alton a twat in his car, just plowed across a round-a-bout (button small one) did not see me at all, I was already on it, but he was motoring, so I stopped.... I caught up with him to have a word. "Sorry mate, sorry mate" - "I had a fly in my eyes" As he takes off his glasses to dust them off.....
WHAT A COMPLETE TOSSER! I let him have it, both barrels.... It must have been loud, as I caught out of my eye a few people looking, who were about 100m away ops!
you know what its like with helmet and ear plugs in and on!....

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I have noticed that people who ride nakeds on trackdays seem to be the people having the most fun , they are not fixated on improving their lap times or working on their body position etc they just hoon around and have a great time . Thats just my observations .Kwacky wrote:Took the Italian mistress out for a ride.

I think there's something in that. I know on the road riding a naked feels more relaxed than being on a sports bike. It might be the riding position or it might be the expectation that a full on sports bike should be going at full pelt.b

I agree. Being able to just pull / push on the bars and chuck it through a corner is much easier imo.

You're absolutely right, Jack! I flit between fun and serious all the time on circuit but then I've always been highly competitive with my football, rugby and athletics history.

I keep switching between faired and naked bikes... I know the solution is to have one of each. The sprint is a good long range bike and I would have another MT-10...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
After work I gave it a quick clean, cleaned and tensioned the chain as it's new it's still settling in.
Then changed the front brake fluid, there was some gunk floating in it from the left calliper
so that's flushed through and the lever feels a bit better, less dead movement before it builds any pressure.
Tomorrow my friends have decided Kielder Forest is it... 400 miles plus for me and the longest day so far on the Sprint, should be okay.

Caned it on the way back from JHP after having another demo ride on the multi V4
Kwacky is right. A supersport naked makes riding like a dick so easy and so much fun.

Amazing bike. So much flexibility in the engine so not the constant gear changing of my v twin version.kiwikrasher wrote:How’s ya find the V4?duke63 wrote:Caned it on the way back from JHP after having another demo ride on the multi V4

Riding it is quite serene compared to the Triumph, it’s quite happy to just run at slow speed but wind it up and it’s a bit mental too.
I could ride it at all legal road speeds with my visor wide open the aerodynamics are that good. Does get warm as a result though.
Looking forward to getting mine but the dealer currently has 15 on order so I doubt i will see it before July.
