Sad when a good bike is let down by customer service.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

The bike is 6 years old, so a warranty claim at this point was always going to be a bit ambitious.

So I'm going to patch it up and get rid of it.
The bike or the tank?

Are you replacing it with something else or just sticking with 2 bikes?

I sold the Versys last July.
I'm going to look for something else. I fancy a naked.

I've always liked the 765, even if they are common
A test ride on the new speed triple is called for
And there's the naked version of my MV, the brutale.

Triumph make great bikes.. no wonder they're popular.
Would you consider the Rivale 800 or Hypermotard?

The Rivale is ok but it looks too close to the Brutale for it to stand out.
The Hyper is a nice looking bike and they're well priced.

Chatted with the owner of DMC Birmingham. They're happy to get the tank sorted at cost and reduced labour. The bike also needs a new battery and the chain and sprockets are the originals so they could do with being changed.
The owner just happens to be down in London at their new store. To fill the store they took some of the Birmingham demo bikes with them. They're getting a new Brutale RR demo in and need to get rid of the old one.
So........

The Rivale looks sort of "insecty" to me.
