I love the way she's getting all worked up about the croc getting closer but she's not concerned enough to move. I'm guessing that a big reptile like that can only put on a short burst of speed on land.

..... Apparently they can run at speeds approaching 20km/h, but only for a very limited distance/time.
In the water is another matter entirely.... come across a croc in the water and you can kiss your a$$ goodbye.

Re: Reasons not to go to Australia, part 24753
It’s the 9th most venomous snake in the world and #5 here, behind the browns and taipans. But unlike other snakes it just sits tight when people get close, and sits in ambush. Before anti venom more than 50% of Adder bites were fatal.. hence death adderMonty wrote:LOL Death Adder!

I did.
I also owned Bryan Adams' "Wakin' Up The Neighbors" album.....play them back-to-back and in places they sound very close to one-another.
Listen to "Don't Drop That Bomb On Me" and let me know what you think....??

Re: Reasons not to go to Australia, part 24753
I was reading yesterday how the rich and famous are settling in Australia as its restrictions free yet Aussie citizens are barred from returning to their own homes from abroad. If true that needs to stop.
