Parler
For those who don't know, this is the far right version of Twitter. It's basically an online cesspit for those who complain about "woke left wing libtard snowflakes" whilst at the same time whinging about pretty much everything.
Anyway, Parler had a couple of warnings last week which resulted in Google and Apple pulling Parler from their app stores.
Then yesterday it was hacked and brought down.
Now the hackers have pulled all of the chat history and made it available online.
Parler was used to organise last week's DC protests and was being used to organised an armed protest in DC for the 20th Jan.
It'll be interesting to see what information is pulled from those documents.

Should be a quick cut and paste for the FBI on to the domestic terrorist list.

Re: Parler
Parler have decided to take Amazon to court
https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/11/tech ... index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Basically they allege that Amazon has pulled the plug in breach of contract, which has caused them a loss of business.
Amazon have already filed a defence. In the opening paragraph, Amazon (who are unsurprisingly denying the claim) state
"this cause is about Parler's demonstrated unwillingness and inability to remove from the servers of Amazon Web Services content that threatens the public safety, such as by inciting and planning the rape, torture and assassination of named public officials and private citizens."
So I'm guessing that Amazon are quite happy to pull the pin and toss a grenade in Parler's direction.

Re: Parler
If there is one company in the whole world that you would not want to sue for breach of contract, then i think Amazon would be top of that list.

There are many companies you wouldn't want to take to court and Amazon are definitely in the Top 3.

It's back up and running. They're having to route all of their traffic through servers based in Russia.
