Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
Looks like the Alien. In a good way.
Halo headlight looks a bit gimmicky, but okay.
Tribal graphics kits?? I'm sure they'll be a hit with the Fast & Furious crowd.

Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
That's pretty impressive. I think I'll have to take a couple out for a test ride.

What's the seat height? Mrs C likes it.duke63 wrote:£10,295 is a decent price too.

Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
the bike has a stock seat height of 32.3 inches, with an optional lower seat that brings that down to 31.5 inches. Those with particularly short legs can get an optional spring kit for the suspension, which takes the bike down even farther (at the cost of ground clearance) to just 30.5 inches. Ducati also made sure that the saddle area is nice and narrow, which should help riders stay flat-footed when stopped -- something that dramatically increases a rider's confidence.

Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
I'm guessing this is going up against the Europeans: 790 Duke, 765 Street Triple, 660 Tuono and 800cc Brutale.

Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
No doubt about that. The specs are similar to all those bikes, including the price.Kwacky wrote:I'm guessing this is going up against the Europeans: 790 Duke, 765 Street Triple, 660 Tuono and 800cc Brutale.

Decent levels of tech as well.
Have they said what the suspension is?
I think I'll give this version a swerve.

I've told her and she's pissed off now

She wanted a monster but it was too wide and bit high. This one is the perfect bike for her. Will test one in the spring

Re: 2021 Ducati Monster
In my opinion, that 937 engine, (the same as the 950 Multi, Hypermotard and Supersport) is one the Ducati's best ever engines. Great noise and stonking drive out of corners. Perfect for a road bike.
