Not the bike but cleaned all my leathers ready to put away for the winter.
Lots of squished flies.
All now nice and clean .

Gave the big Honda a quick wash and cleaned the chain.
Started to remove the servo on the MV. The healer is on but I'm struggling to remove the cables. They don't make these bikes easy to work on.

Took bike to my hospital appointment, put it in armchair mode and sat back. Really glad I took the bike as they are resurfacing the road in front of the hospital and traffic there is a nightmare at the best of times. The carpark is also a PITA and really expensive, but they have a free dedicated bike area.
I'd forgotten how easy the XR is to filter through traffic,

Washed it and put it away. Can't see it being ridden in anger now til the Spring.
Interestingly we had plod patrolling the street today whilst i was outside washing the bike.
He stopped to ask a family of walkers where they had been.

Nothing. It's really weird from riding every weekday and usually out at the weekends to not riding at all.
Oh well, I'm saving a fortune on cleaning products, chains, tyres etc.

I decided to take a break from work so I took the Honda out for a quick spin. I didn't go far but it was nice to get out.

I gave it a wash and dry then a good ACF-50 treatment, I have a compressor and a very cheap paint gun which I use for ACF, makes it quick and easy.

Used it yesterday.
I really, really, really need to give it a wash. Not only is it covered in grime and mud, but yesterday I spotted a mouldy bug splat.
Even in my book, that's bad

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took Jess out on the back of the Ducati for the first time since before my surgery.
Heading out to a pub we like down on the river about an hour away. Good biking road out there too.
But coming back we got adventurous and came back the very long way along the river, which is not the best quality road but very picturesque and lots of bends. Had to jump on a cable driven vehicle ferry to get across the river and carry on through more back roads back to our local for another pit stop before heading home.
An awesome mental health day. The Multi did what it does best and ate up the miles, soaked up the bumps, no complaining, just growling out of the corners.

I looked at it and connected the battery charger, horrible damp slippery day despite a glowing forecast.
