What?....do you live in The Palace Of Versailles or sommit????
I did actually used to have a massive bedset with a bank of mirrors making up the headboard. It had a built-in drinks cabinet, lights, phones, etc......it was frickin' epic. 7'×7' mattress as well. You could live in that bed.

Sitting at a rum distillery drinking gin
Jess won a spot as a consumer judge for a gin spirit awards here in Sydney. They are holding it at a rum distillery so there is no conflict of interest.
So I’m here having a few drinks with a friend till she’s done. Just got a rum sampler tray but jeez rum is a bit rough after a lifetime of gin drinking

Work, and later I will probably be repairing the crash damage to my neighbours bike.
It rolled off its side stand so I was surprised at the carnage. Foot peg and clutch lever both snapped, side fairing snapped and scuffed, stator cover and bar end both damaged.

46!!??
No thanks. That's ridiculous. My doctor's office is on the seventh floor & that's more than enough for me. Nice view though.

Another online assessment for Northern Rail, for a Conductor's job this time, it is a challenge for someone not used to complex maths against the clock.

Early walkabout to see if I could catch the rutting deer.
Then popped into the Church Hall as they were exhibiting photos for the Wild Marlow competition, the winners go in the calendar. I did not get a month, but I did have a photo exhibited lol.
Then I went on a little two wheel blast around.... Lots of farm mud on the roads, super thick and slippy, still had a blast though. now time for some food and bike racing on the box. Thats me done for the day now.

Re: What are you doing today ??
It's done now but it was things like if driver B gets 5p per mile less than driver A then which week had the lowest combined fuel cost, and a table of mileage figures for 10 weeks with massively different numbers... 18 questions in 17 minutes, loads of figuring out percentages and percentage increase and decrease. And figuring out the cost of things from a combined percentage of various things.
To be a Conductor taking cashless payments. I only really do very simple maths taking bus fares and we are pushing for contactless payment on that.
I was digging back 18 years in my memory to when I was a Calibration Technician for some of the maths, and to my time as an engine builder for other parts (I used to have to calculate compression ratios for some modified engines).
Complex is a relative term, compared to what I have used in the last 15+ years it was, but in the grand scheme of things fairly simple just a lot of it in a limited time.
Then there was the English section, a block of text then a question on it and even if the answer was obvious if it's not in the text either way you have to click unknown.

Ah okay.. I used to love that stuff in my GCSE maths exam (yes I'm the weirdo that loves exams!)
Hopefully you passed it. Give me a shout in the future if you need a hand though.

I'm in the office. It feels pretty weird. There's only two of us in this wing. So much energy being wasted with the lights, heating etc.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Decided to clean the oven this morning..... There is a job I do not wish to start again!!! As a reward to myself I am taking myself out on a mystery tour on the bike for a few hours as its dry. Plus looks like the weather is changing and having that opportunity may not happen for a while.
